PRICES PER GRAM
The pricing in grams is determined as follows: We begin the pricing calculation by taking into account the most recent London Fix PM price, which is indicative of the current gold market conditions. Following this, we perform a division, dividing this price by 31.1035 to establish the per-gram pricing, indicating the cost of gold. To this, we add the Fairmined Fees based on the gold content of each product. For instance, 24K gold is pure, consisting of 100% gold, so it incurs the full Fairmined fee per gram (4.7 USD). However, for 18K gold, which has a gold content of 75%, we apply 75% of the Fairmined fee per gram (3.53 USD). Furthermore, we include a premium, which varies according to the quantity, as shown in the table below.
PRICES PER TROY OUNCE
The calculation of the price in troy ounces is determined as follows: we start with the current price of the London Fix PM, representing the gold price. To this, we add the Fairmined Fees based on the gold content of each product. For example, 24K gold is 100% gold, so it incurs the full Fairmined fee per ounce (146 USD). However, for 18K gold, which has a gold content of 75%, we apply 75% of the Fairmined fee per ounce (109.64 USD). To this value, we add the premium, which is a percentage that varies depending on the quantity, as shown in the following table.
